Angel Suarez Moreno: A Titan of Business with Heart

Angel Suarez Moreno: A Titan of Business with Heart

AUSTIN, TX, UNITED STATES, March 22, 2026 – In the business world, many speak of vertical and horizontal diversification, but few practice it with the experience, determination, and passion of Angel Suarez Moreno. At the helm of a steadily growing group of companies, including Eastar Insurance Group, Eastar Music, Eastar Films, United Artists, and Eastar Realty, and now also as a member of the prestigious Suarez Jewelry Group in the Americas and Spain, Suarez is shaping a global conglomerate with a presence across multiple sectors. Yet amid strategic meetings, business expansion, and new opportunities, he has managed to preserve something even more valuable: his commitment to community, faith, and philanthropy.

Speaking with this serial entrepreneur is like stepping into the world of someone who not only builds companies, but transforms experiences into purpose. His journey, his unusual business practices, and the kind of business alchemy through which he turns ideas into reality reveal a leader driven by both vision and values.

Suarez’s story is, at its core, a story of reinvention. He arrived from Puerto Rico in 1999 without speaking English and began working as a parking attendant. Through discipline, consistency, and a hunger to move forward, he advanced into hotel management, then into banking, and later earned his pilot’s license and acquired a Cessna aircraft. But his life changed dramatically, both literally and symbolically, when he lost his aircraft in a storm and later suffered a car accident while on his way to inspect the damage.

It was from that moment on that he decided to focus his life on protection and service. “After going through those accidents, I looked for ways to protect the people I cared about,” Suarez recalls. That is how Eastar Insurance Group was born in 2018, a company that would become the foundation of a much broader business ecosystem.

A Life of Innovation, Collaboration, and Adventure

Beyond his businesses, Suarez is also an author, a creative force, and a multifaceted thinker. He has written several books inspired by his experiences and his interest in different industries and human themes. As a creator, sometimes working from a more discreet profile, he has taken his vision even further by producing and directing his own series, available on platforms such as Amazon Prime and Apple TV.

Behind his achievements there is also a strong story of partnership. Since 2001, he has shared his life with his wife, and together they have traveled the world for both professional and personal reasons. Those experiences have enriched his global outlook and strengthened a partnership that, over the years, has become one of the pillars of his life.

Suarez has a deep fascination with new business models and human behavior. He devotes much of his time to developing projects, studying trends, and writing, convinced that understanding the present is essential to building the future. The Eastar Ecosystem Today Using Eastar Insurance Group as his platform, Suarez began expanding his business vision. In 2020 he founded Eastar Music, what is now United Artists Music, with the goal of turning it into a global brand focused on direct talent recruitment. “We do not wait for demos to come to us. We go after the artists and their stories,” he says.

That same sensitivity to storytelling and content led, in 2021, to the creation of Eastar Films, a company that is currently developing collaborations with entertainment giants such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV.

His most recent ventures also reveal his sharp ability to identify opportunities. Eastar Realty seeks to revolutionize the real estate sector with a commission structure designed to benefit both the client and the firm. Meanwhile, Eastar Travelers, which was previously a branch of Eastar Insurance Group, will become Arc Travelers. This future travel agency promises exclusive experiences including luxury private jet itineraries, access to celebrity events, trips to the Oscars and the Grammys, as well as premium vacation packages. Added to this is Julie Apps, a new software company that will launch a business application in June designed to automate text messages, emails, and mass calling.

The Client Revolution

When asked what the key to his success is, Suarez responds without hesitation: “A strong management team, where each company can operate without having to be micromanaged, so I can focus on the growth of each one. But the first and most important thing in all my companies is to always work for the client. Always.”

That philosophy is clearly reflected in Eastar Insurance Group. As an independent agency, it has the flexibility that captive agencies, those that work for a single brand, do not have. “My team adjusts quotes even before the monthly payment is due. If we find a better price, we inform the client immediately and give them the option to switch companies. We handle everything, from canceling the current policy to activating the new one, so the client always pays as little as possible,” he explains.

In the real estate sector, Eastar Realty has introduced an innovative concept that Suarez calls the “disappearing commission.” “Every two months that a house does not sell, the percentage of our commission goes down. The longer we work with the client, the less we get paid. That gives us the financial incentive to close the deal quickly and ethically, which builds trust and generates many referrals.”

Mastering the Human Element

The year 2026 will mark another important moment in his journey: Suarez will complete his master’s degree in Human Resources. He already holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, but he believes that understanding people is just as important as understanding markets. “My degree is about people,” he says. “If business is the engine, people are the fuel. You have to take care of that fuel so the engine can keep running forever.”

He also acknowledges that his experience as a member of the honor societies Phi Sigma Pi and Golden Key International strengthened his leadership, his spirit of service, and his professional connections.

Faith in Action

For Suarez, success is not measured solely in contracts, expansion, or numbers. It is also defined in terms of service, impact, and gratitude. “Faith and community are everything,” he says. “When I arrived in this country with nothing, faith sustained me and the community lifted me up.”

His commitment to service has been reflected in his participation in the Parks and Recreation Department of Universal City, Texas, and in his past nomination to the Live Oak, Texas City Council.

In addition, he consistently supports food banks in different cities. He speaks about it with humility, remembering that at one point those same organizations helped put food on his table. He also collaborates with local churches in Texas and South America. “Churches are places of hope. If my success helps feed those in need or guide those who are lost, then that success truly counts.”

Flying High

Despite a demanding schedule, Suarez has never abandoned his passion for aviation. Since purchasing his Cessna, he has flown to different parts of the United States and even crossed the Bermuda Triangle with his wife on a wedding anniversary trip to the Bahamas.

His personal philosophy is also clear. He believes in focus, mental discipline, and the importance of moving forward without becoming trapped by the weight of the past. “I tell my team not to bring their personal problems into the office. We cannot live thinking about what has already happened. We have to focus on improving the present in order to build a better tomorrow.”

Special Thanks

When asked whether there was any person or group he wanted to thank, Suarez smiled first and replied, “There are many.” Then he spoke from the heart. His mother, Carmen, holds a central place on that list. “She taught me what it means to be truly committed, dedicated, and responsible. She worked two jobs to feed us and, at the same time, went to college. I think that is why I do a thousand things at once today.” He speaks of her with deep admiration, remembering not only her and his grandmother Ana’s sacrifices, but also her ability to succeed in everything she pursued from selling beauty products to automobiles. He also highlights her compassion, empathy, and love for animals. “Not a single day goes by without her feeding abandoned animals.” He extends that same recognition to his aunt Betsy and his uncle Ed, whom he describes as part of a great story of perseverance that he deeply admires. My in-laws also opened their doors to me and accepted me as a son; I am very grateful to them.

When speaking about his wife Linda, Suarez does so with gratitude and tenderness. “She has truly been very supportive of me and has helped me with my business. Like my mother, she had two jobs when I met her. She is my right hand.” He also emphasizes her faith, her leadership, and the spiritual discipline with which she supports her family every day. “Every morning she calls me to pray for the day and for the family. She is a great mother and an excellent leader in the workplace.”

He also shared proudly that he holds a pastoral license and that one of the most meaningful moments of his life was when his son Archangel asked him to officiate his wedding. “It was a tremendous honor.” He describes him as an independent man, devoted to his family, and a graduate in Business. He especially recalls an experience in Puerto Rico, when the two of them tried to climb a mountain but had to stop because of the rain. The next day they went back together and finished it. “If it had not been for his persistence, I would have left it halfway.”

When speaking about his daughter, his tone becomes especially emotional. “She works, studies, and seems to be able to read my soul. When nobody notices that I am feeling down, she does. She asks me if I am okay and tells me we should talk.” In his words, there is genuine admiration for his daughter’s sensitivity, maturity, and strength at such a young age.

Of his father, Angel, he highlights his example, faith, and perseverance. “He advises me to do things the right way and to believe in God. He has worked very hard in this country.” He says that despite the distance and responsibilities, they stay in daily communication and share videos and moments of humor that brighten their days.

Finally, he mentions his sister Jennifer with a profound sense of gratitude. He describes her as an exemplary mother, a strong woman, and an extraordinary person. He values their constant communication and the shared interest they both have in business. He also highlights her work on behalf of the Hispanic community in the northern part of the country, as well as the dedication of her and her husband, Buddy, to their family, their businesses, and various community causes. “They reached out to me when I needed it most and, because of that, I will always be grateful,” he says.

Angel Suarez Moreno represents a rare combination of entrepreneurial ambition, creativity, discipline, and a spirit of service. His story is not simply that of a man who has built companies across multiple industries, but of someone who has managed to turn adversity into direction, faith into fuel, and gratitude into legacy.
