Local Company Establishes Headquarters at Cascades in Carlsbad NM

CARLSBAD, NM, May 07, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Red Rocket Media, a local company, is consolidating its operations and establishing their corporate headquarters at the Cascades, the Carlsbad Department of Development (CDOD) recently announced. The Cascades at Carlsbad is where companies are choosing to invest, expand, and establish a presence.

A proven location for private investment and business growth, Cascades has seen several new projects recently. The Cascades Recreation and Wellness Center, the Cascades Grill, and the River View Apartments are all brand new developments at the site. With Red Rocket Media’s project injecting approximately $1.6 million dollars into the development, the Cascades has seen over $32 million dollars invested within the site in recent months.

“One reason we chose the Cascades is because of its proximity to three of our locations,” said Damian Capello, owner of Red Rocket Media. “The River Hut at the beach, the Media House at the Pecos River Village, and our work yard on Fox Street are nearby. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, its beauty and nearby attractions of the river area.”

Red Rocket Media’s headquarter facilities will be two stories; the bottom floor is set for five retail spaces and a sixth as a coffee shop setting. The second floor will house four apartments approximately 1,250 square feet each. There will also be a small warehouse attached and Red Rocket Media’s corporate offices included.

Building at the Cascades makes sense from a business standpoint for several reasons. It’s a shovel-ready site, a great location, and investors are eager to be a part of the growing synergy within the development. Cascades is the only site of this kind in the Carlsbad market, and companies are taking note.

Carlsbad currently sees daytime population numbers ranging from 88,000 to 92,000 per day. Areas of the market have traffic counts over 50,000 per day, and on annual basis, Carlsbad, home of the world-famous Carlsbad Caverns, sees an average of over 500,000 visitors. With such an influx of people either visiting or moving to the community, demand for more commercial options remains at an all-time high. The Cascades is a shovel-ready location in the heart of Carlsbad’s growth.

The Cascades is designed with a riverwalk-type of water feature flowing throughout the development. It offers walking bridges and paths to encourage visitors to explore the businesses located at the site. The Cascades is nestled along the Pecos River, near tennis and pickle ball courts and the Carlsbad Water Park. The vision for the Cascades project is to bring people to a destination for a unique experience unlike any other in the area.
