As the author of Children the Rainbow of God, I wanted to create a story that speaks directly to the hearts of children and reminds them of something very important: they matter to God.
HOUSTON, TX, April 07, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — This book was written from a place of faith, love, and a desire to help children understand that they are not too young to be included in God’s Word, God’s love, and God’s purpose. In today’s world, children need stories that do more than entertain they need stories that encourage, uplift, and plant something meaningful in their hearts. That is what I hoped to do with this book.
In Children the Rainbow of God, readers meet Alex, a five-year-old child who goes on rainy-day adventures with Robbie the Rainbow, a colorful and caring friend who teaches him about God through Scripture. Along the way, Alex also meets Nutty the Squirrel, and together they explore simple but powerful biblical truths in a way children can understand and enjoy.
The message of this story is rooted in the Bible, especially in verses such as Mark 10:14–15 and 1 Corinthians 12:27, which remind us that children are precious to God and are part of His greater plan. My goal was to present those truths in a way that feels warm, imaginative, and meaningful for young readers and the adults who read with them.
I believe children are looking for more than stories they are looking for identity, belonging, comfort, and truth. This book was written to help them begin to see themselves through God’s eyes. It is my prayer that when a child reads this story, they will walk away knowing that they are loved, valued, and created for a purpose.
I also wrote this book with families in mind. I wanted parents, grandparents, Sunday school teachers, and Christian educators to have a resource they could use to start conversations about faith, Scripture, and God’s love in a gentle and memorable way.
More than anything, I hope Children the Rainbow of God becomes a book that children return to not only because it is enjoyable, but because it makes them feel seen, safe, and spiritually encouraged.
For me, this book is not just a story it is a message. A reminder that every child has a place in God’s creation and that His love reaches them in ways both beautiful and personal.
